Professional Project Review

In this video is is a bunch of small birds not letting a bigger bird in their group and the smaller birds end up getting launched up in the sky from the telephone pole. The emotions that are on the characters face is one element I could apply to my own work because it shows how the birds are feeling. One element I have added to some of my own works is the squash and stretch that is in the video like when the birds are launched, and when they hit the ground. The best part of the animation is when the birds start pecking the bigger birds feet to make him let go of the telephone pole wire. This work could improve by adding more emotion to the bird's faces.

What is Graphic Design

Graphic design is the process of visual communication, and problem-solving through the use of type, space, image and color. Graphic design is everywhere. Its on tissue boxes, food packaging and more! With graphic design you can connect with others, with the color the design and maybe personal opinions. Knowing it or not graphic design is around you every day.

eComm Final Blog

e9 Final Project 

In animation, I was the team member that made the product or the prototype to see what it would end up looking like. In the end I was feeling pretty good on how it turned out. Originally, I expected it to look very horrible but, it wasn't half bad! At first, being a team was a little tricky since none of us had really worked together in our class this year. But learning each other's skills in animation made each rotation that much easier.

Second, for my group our next rotation was going to be graphic and web design. Greyson was doing a good job as the leader at first but soon enough we all stepped up and had to take the role as the leader every now and then. In the graphic and web rotation I mainly worked on the coupon and the ad everyday. In graphic design m group worked really well together and got along.

Finally, in the third rotation, video my group really worked well together. At the beginning we had a rough start on the story board of our commercial, but as a team we were able to pull our skills together and make one great company.

Photohop Projects

These are all of my photoshop projects that I have done during my imd in the graphic/web design part of e-Comm. My first project was the one on the top right where we photoshopped the compass and the letters ONW in front of the school. The second on the bottom right was the butterfly where we made it different colors and made it look like its wings were flapping. The third one was the one on the bottom left were we made a mask that said northwest in front of the school. The fourth was the one on the top which was my name and we made it with gradients. Then the last one the top left was the school with different parts of the school photoshopped in front of it. In that project we also photoshopped two cars, and two light poles that were in the way. Graphic designers need illustrator and photoshop because they need photoshop to cut out parts of a picture and illustrator to make new shapes and new things such as logos.

Hello World Web Page Project

This was my first time making a web page. We made them using dreamweaver and did all sorts of cool stuff with them! We did things from making footers, making the whole page a different color and how to add new options. I also learned how to put links inside of my webpage. This project had some difficult and some easy parts. Some easy parts were inserting pictures and learning how to insert links, and some hard parts were learning how to do the CSS styles and all of the things you can do with it. Web/Graphic design was really fun especially learning how to do photoshop!

About My Logo

The main idea or "scope" of this project was to make a logo on our own with imagination. The process of doing this was first we made several rough sketches of the logo and we chose one to base our logo off of. Then we went into adobe illustrator and created our logo using different colors and shapes. During this project I learned a lot about illustrator and making a logo. I learned about using gradients and transforming shapes. Next time I will do lots of things differently, such as not having to stop to ask as many questions so I will have more time to work, but I will do somethings the same. Next time I will use gradients iff they are necesary and using a wide variety of colors and shapes.
