The Color Wheel

It matters what colors marketers use to market their items so that they will be sold. Color matters because it gets the customers attention. If the colors don't make each other stand out then the item won't be sold. Also adding other little things like colorful labels or the colors of a cartoon character for a promotion.

Red-Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.
Green-Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money.
Blue-Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Black-Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.
White-White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection.
Purple-Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic.
Yellow-Yellow is the color of sunshine. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.

Logo Color Use

Logo Color Use:

The colors used in this logo are a yellow-green and purple. The logo is representing McDonalds. The color scheme it uses is complementary, yellow and purple are across from each other on the color wheel. The company choose these colors because since they are complementary one color makes the other stand out so it makes the whole logo very noticeable.

Interview

Hi my name is Drew Leavitt, and this is my video over my Ecomm interview. We incorporated the six shot sequence as well as the 180 angle rule. In the video I was asked six questions of my choice to answer all about Ecomm. The first question was how are you liking Ecomm so far? Also more questions similar to that. In this project collaboration was very important. For telling our camera man what shot we want and at what angle. Also making sure the interviewer knows the question to ask the interviewee. I learned a lot of new things in this class, including almost every shortcut key that has been taught to us. I also learned how to use blogger and how useful it can be. I also made some new friends in the class, and learned what everyone is good at in the class, such as someone being really good at editing, but not that great of a filmer. At the end of the video strand I learned lots of new things, that collaboration is important, shortcut keys can save lots of time and are very useful, and last that video was very fun!
